Class 6 loved the challenge of making motorised vehicles. They designed their vehicles, thinking carefully who they would be for and how this would affect the materials needed for the body. When building the vehicles, they worked well in pairs to saw the wood and used a glue gun to build the chassis. A highlight was going into the hall to test the vehicles once they were finished – the children loved this and wanted to discuss why some of them were not travelling in a straight line.
