In our geography and history lessons, we have been learning about the local area. The pupils worked in groups to compare and contrast a variety of maps – they discussed what each of the maps showed, predicted when they were made and thought about who would be likely to use each of them. Many of the children were quick to spot they were all of Dickleburgh and enjoyed trying to spot their houses! The pupils were given a project to create a booklet about how Dickleburgh has changed over time. We took a trip to the Reading Room where we were able to gather information and a volunteer who lives in the local area was able to answer lots of our questions.
