Class 6 thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a geography workshop – it was a great opportunity to revisit our learning from last year through games and quizzes. We also looked at how countries tried to explain natural disasters that occurred in the past – each group was given a myth and had to create a set of freeze frames to represent the beginning, middle and end. We finished the morning by thinking about the impact physical geography can have on human geography – we performed adverts in groups to show the impact former earthquakes have had on the civilians and surrounding area.
